The 2007-08 New York State Budget includes a significant increase in the Property Tax Rebate program.

If you own a home in New York State you are eligible for the program.

This year's plan is an increase based on the amount that was available in 2006. The increase is based on your household income.

That means:
*If you earned $90,000 or less your rebate will double.
*If you earned between $90,000-$120,000 your rebate will increase by 1 and 1/2.
*If you earned $120,000-$250,000 you will recieve a moderate increase.
